- Payment of Fines
Payment of Fines
PAY A TICKET
If you are issued a citation and all violations have a fine amount, you may choose not to appear in court but pay your fines and fees prior to your court date. If your citation states “Court”, then you must appear on your scheduled court date.
When paying a fine(s) prior to your court date, you acknowledge that:
- You are the defendant and that you are pleading guilty or no contest to the charges on your ticket.
- You will be found guilty on all charges.
- You are waiving your rights to a trial.
Online payments are made through CitePayUSA.com. Please call the Municipal Court at 913-662-0017 if you experience any problems with paying online or have questions regarding paying online.
PAY BY MAIL
On the back of your citation, circle your plea of guilty or no contest in the paragraph under Appearance, Plea of Guilty or No Contest. Make sure you sign the citation. The citation must be mailed along with the payment.
