Basehor Civic Campus

WELCOME to Basehor Civic Campus! 

On August 8, 2024 the City of Basehor officially opened the Basehor Civic Campus to the Basehor Community. This 37.6 acre multi-use campus is now home to a splash pad, playground, event lawn, amphitheater, fishing pond, walking trails, and Basehor City Hall. 

Walking Trails

The Basehor Civic Campus walking trails encompass more than 1 mile of walking trails throughout the entire campus. 

The total for Civic Campus trails cost was approximately $1.8 million. More than 70% of the funds needed for the trails, $1.2 million, were awarded to the city in grants and external funding.

Splash Pad

The Basehor Civic Campus Splash Pad is centrally located next to Basehor City Hall and is open yearly from May 1 to Sept. 30 from sunrise to sundown. 

It is free to visit the splash pad, and visitors are advised to abide by the posted guidelines when visiting the facility. 

Playground

Event Lawn & Amphitheater

The Basehor Civic Campus event lawn and amphitheater are home to the summer recreation series: Cinema Sundays and Third Thursdays and many other fun events throughout the year! 

Fishing Pond

The Basehor Civic Campus is located on the northwest corner of the campus between 159th Street and Parallel Road. Visitors are advised to abide by the posted guidelines when visiting the fishing pond.
