Both projects are part of Basehor Connected, an ongoing community transportation improvement initiative. Basehor Connected will use the progress and momentum created from the 155th Street Reconstruction and Modernization and the 158th Street MetroGreen Trail and Pedestrian Improvement projects to pursue future transportation enhancements throughout the city, all focused on creating a network that connects people and places, efficiently, comfortably, and safely.
All are invited to attend the first public open house, which will take place on Wednesday, Mar. 2 from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at the Basehor-Linwood High School CTE Building (2108 N. 155th St., Basehor, KS 66007). No formal presentation will be made. Members of the project team will be present to share progress to date, gather community feedback, and answer questions.
Additional opportunities for public input will be announced later in the project.
