The Code Enforcement Officer performs a variety of routine and complex work in the enforcement of adopted codes, ordinances, and related rules and regulations and effectively communicates those rules and regulations to the public through the code enforcement process. The position is responsible for enforcing city codes, in particular, those codes pertaining to animals, property use, maintenance, and public nuisances.
