  Monthly residential sewer rates are based on the average water used per household during the months of December, January and February.  Actual usage is obtained from either Consolidated Water District #1 or Suburban Water as the City does not operate a water utility. New residents with no previous water use history will be charged a base rate of $57.22 for three consecutive months (until a new rate can be established).  The current sewer rate is $10.88 per 1,000 gallons of water used. The minimum/vacant home monthly sewer rate is $16.32.  One water usage reevaluation is permitted per year.  For more information, contact Assistant City Clerk, Katherine Renn at 724-1370 ext. 21.
