General Infomation

Basehor is a progressive community with the advantage of being a small community close to a large metropolitan area. Basehor is located in southern Leavenworth county, west of Kansas City with easy access to the metropolitan area via I-70 and I-435.

The city of Basehor has a growing population of 2238 with a large surrounding rural population that contributes greatly to the success of our community.    

Basehor continues to be growing in all directions.  There are new subdivisions in development as well as business growth.

Basehor has experienced a steady growth over the last 10 years and all signs indicate that the areas population is continuing to increase.
