Commercial Construction Projects
All commercial building plans are sent out for independent review, these reviews take approximately 5-10 business days. Comments are then received back to the Building Safety Department and distributed to the applicant. Three (3) sets of complete plans must be submitted. These palns must contain complete site plans, storm water information and complete building details.

Requesting Building Inspections
All inspections including sewer must be requested no less than 4 hours in advance. The inspector will try to arrive as quickly as possible. For all building inspections contact the Building Official via email at bldginspect@cityofbasehor.org or 913-724-1370. Please provide the address, type of inspection required, requested time of inspection as well as a return phone number.
All sewer connection inspections need to be scheduled through the Public Works Department 913-724-2000, they also require a 4 hour minimum time window.
