All have access to restroom facilities and waste receptacles will be provided. Additionally, electrical outlets, water spigots ($10 refundable deposit required) and large charcoal BBQ grills are available for each facility. Single BBQ grills and picnic tables are scattered throughout the park.


The Gazebo, the smallest facility, has two picnic tables, and a handicap accessibility ramp.

The Pavilion,has two picnic tables and a ground level concrete pad.

Basehor City Park

The Basehor City Park is located at 15940 Leavenworth Rd. Basehor, KS 66007, approximately a mile west of 155th St. The park has a Shelter, Gazebo, Pavilion, children's playground area and restroom facility. All Facilities are available at no charge from dawn to dusk. No alcohol is allowed at any time on City property. Questions or concerns about the facility can be addressed to Basehor City Hall at 913.724.1370 ext. 21 or to Kathy Renn at krenn@cityofbasehor.org.

The Basehor City Park was established through the joint effort of the Basehor Park Association and the City of Basehor. The Park Association continues to raise funds for improving the park through donations of aluminum cans for recycling. The Park Advisory Board Members include: Marjorie Barlow, Pat Rogers, Pat Massingill and Judy Goens.

The Shelter, Gazebo and Pavilion may be reserved at no charge. Please fill out the
Park Reservation Form and attach to an email addressed to Kathy Renn at krenn@cityofbasehor.org or fax it to 913.724.3388 or deliver it to the City Hall front desk or drop box at 2620 N. 155th St. Basehor, KS 66007.


The Shelter, the largest facility, is adjacent to the playground, has six picnic tables, a ground level concrete pad and is closest to the volleyball pit.
